Join Sisters Uncut and Project 2036 to explore the connections between theatre and protest, focusing on the theatrical elements of creative direct action. The workshop will draw on Sisters Uncut’s own experiences organising direct action, as well as looking at examples of other historical protests which helped inspire, and were part of, social justice movements.
This is in an interactive workshop, and will include rehearsing and recreating protest tactics.
Sisters Uncut is a feminist direct action group which fights against sexual, state and gendered violence. More information on their new Feministo and their Gender Inclusion and Safer spaces policy can be found at www.sistersuncut.org.
