Lolly Jones: 50 Shades of May

Unwrapped: a festival of comedy, cabaret and drag
Curated by Victoria Falconer

Lolly lampoons political figures in this “razor sharp blend of burlesque and comedy” (EdFest Mag).

As Theresa May, she will lip-synch and tease in Brussels and flagellate herself in fields of wheat. Featuring clips of Liam Hourican as Jacob Rees-Mogg(Murder in Successville/Tracey Ullman’s Show), it’s Downing Street on poppers, with a P45, suspenders, and a chunky metal necklace! Lolly also appears as Angela Eagle, Arlene Foster (DUP) and as a saucy Nicola Sturgeon.

50 Shades of May sold out its Edinburgh run at Assembly this summer and gained 4 and 5 star reviews across the board.
