RADAR PERFORMANCE: P.O.P

P.O.P. Creative Director: Sabrina Mahfouz

Five spectacular spoken word poets perform new, exciting work from their debut solo shows; investigating invisibility, shame, darkness, cigarette brands, grief and all that good stuff in the way only the rhythm and rawness of poetry can. Integrated dance and animations; original music; startling stories and beautiful language make this chance to glimpse the start of new work by five incredible artists one not to miss.

P.O.P. seed commissioned the above artists to write new material in a way that challenged their usual practice and would give their talents a platform in the theatre world. The full productions will be presented as a rotating season during Edinburgh Fringe 2014.

P.O.P. is supported by Sky Arts, IdeasTap and The Hospital Club
