ALT B: Black Lives Natter

Hosted by Eljai Morais

Black Lives Natter is a new UK guest-led podcast and platform for Black voices to be heard. BLN host Eljai Morais has a natter about lived experience as a Black Briton.

Join Eljai Morais for the second in the BLN-LIVE series along with July’s guest Roz Etwaria, the driving force behind littlero.org, advocate lead at Traumascapes and ambassador for Survivors Voices. Roz campaigns for the rights of victim-survivors of child sexual assault and abused people. She has studied trauma through Black history, Feminism and Abuse.

Eljai talks to Roz about her work and campaigns, life, laughter, recovery, hope and healing. Their discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A.

Join us after the interview for live performances from up-and-coming Black British talent, including our BLN-LIVE Residents, Amaziah Rose & Leela and guest Spoken Word Artists Florence Reid & Delilah Tahiri. For more information, check out the website and socials.

Black Lives Natter wants to create a place of celebration, of introspection, a place that upholds the many voices and intersectional stories of Black and Brown people in the UK. A platform of understanding, community, sharing and awareness. An informal place to have a bit of a chat; a natter. BLN-LIVE launched at Bush Theatre this March with special guest Christine Dean, former family lawyer and Deputy Leader of the Women’s Equality Party.
