Audio Description provides information about the visual elements of a production. The description is delivered live, in-between dialogue and picked up through headsets, giving access to blind and visually impaired audiences.
We will send out Introductory Notes as a document and audio file in advance with your pre-show email, which are also often available on this page to listen to or download. The Introductory Notes are always delivered live before the performance begins. These describe the set and provide any other information you might need about the production before the performance starts.
Audio Description headsets can be requested when you’re booking your tickets, and collected from Box Office when you arrive. Touch Tours are available before all Audio Described performances.

Touch Tours
A Touch Tour before the performance allows blind or visually impaired audience members to explore the set and costumes and meet the cast. You can book for the Touch Tour when booking your tickets.
These start 1 hour before the Audio Described performance.
Assistance Dogs
You are welcome to bring your assistance dog into both auditoriums. Please request an aisle seat when you book. Alternatively, our staff are happy to dog-sit for you.
